Moms, we all know our little girls love to do what we do, like getting manicures and pedicures at the salons and spas! Which is so much FUN! Enjoy creating fond memories for our daughters, granddaughters, nieces and friends!
But if you're going to a salon and spa to have your mani & pedi done, you need to be sure you do not walk out with more than you bargained for, like an infection. Learn more on, Nail Care Prevention.
THINGS TO OBSERVE FOR WHEN YOU VISIT A SALON & SPA
Honestly speaking, we do not recommend this enhancement service for girls under 13 years old. Why? The nail beds on children are still thin, flimsy and not as layered or as thick as adults. Also, we do not recommend exposing children to UV light.
There is something else to consider, children tend to pick at their nails, which can cause additional damage to their nail bed.
A good nail professional should advise you not to have this type of service for your daughters. You do not want a less experienced nail technician filing your child's nail bed. If not done properly and with care could cause unnecessary damage.

My name is Sanaya, and I want to tell my friends who are princesses too, why I like to get my nails done with my mommy. I always have so much fun!
My Grandma Nana was excited when she seen the pictures of me getting my nails done, but she told my mommy not to let me get gel nails until I'm older. So I guess I have to get regular polish next time. Oh well!
The 4th pic (4/5) in Princess Sanaya's gallery. RECAP: We do not recommend the gel nail services for girls under 13. As mentioned above. "Are Gel Nails with UV Lamps Safe for Little Girls?" We have decided to leave that particular image in the gallery, so all parents can have a visual.
Plus, Princess Sanaya, was having so much FUN! We couldn't resist sharing that big beautiful smile with you!
